The CNM will work in close collaboration with three OBGYNs, three midwives, and one women's health nurse practitioner, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.*Responsibilities:** In addition to women's health and family planning services, our midwives provide 24-hour on-call coverage for midwifery caseload patients* Deliveries occur in our beautiful birth center on the same floor as our Women's Wellness Center* We emphasize supporting physiologic birth and patient choice to achieve excellent outcomes* Nursing staff provide 1:1 support for women who have water labor and birth, nitrous oxide, intrathecal, or VBAC options* NVRH features spacious labor and delivery rooms, a comfortable call room suite, and full-time lactation counselor support* The position will involve clinic days plus shared calls.*Requirements:** Nurse Midwifery certification* Current Vermont RN and APRN license (or ability to obtain)* Current Vermont DEA (or ability to obtain)* BLS through the AHA* 1+ year experience working in a hospital* Insurability*About NVRH:*As a not-for-profit independent hospital, NVRH prides itself on providing top-notch primary and preventive care, cutting-edge surgical and specialty services, and both inpatient and outpatient care.
