$20,000 Sign-On Bonus!!!We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Richmond, KY. FNP/PMHNP will provide acute assessment and management of patients experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder in an integrated behavioral health and primary care environment. Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Interpret data to determine diagnosis and therapeutic treatment plan.Conducts one-on-one patient teaching and education.Provide therapy and counseling to patients and their families.Collaborate with care team to support comprehensive patient care plan.Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness.Provide monitoring and continuity of care between primary care and mental health visits.Stay current with developments in psychiatric care and treatment.Assists with other duties or in other departments as instructed by supervisor.REQUIREMENTS:Master's degree in nursing and completed Nurse Practitioner degree.Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Kentucky. Certification by national certifying organization.At least 3 years of nursing experience in a clinic setting AND 2 years of NP experience preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.ACCOUNTABILITY:Accountable to the Chief Medical Officer and ultimately the Chief Executive Officer.The above information is intended to describe the most important aspects of the job.
