Top private medical group in Manhattan is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This is the perfect role for a dedicated and experienced GI Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant that will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions.Job Function:Performing thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests related to gastrointestinal health.Diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders and conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and liver disease.Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, focusing on symptom management, disease prevention, and health promotion.Prescribing medications and monitoring their effectiveness, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal patient outcomes.Performing and interpreting diagnostic procedures and tests, including endoscopies and colonoscopies, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.Providing patient education on gastrointestinal health, including dietary modifications, lifestyle changes, and medication adherence.Collaborating with gastroenterologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment.Job Requirements:1-2 years of experience in Gastroenterology as a NP/PAActive New York LicenseBoard Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
