Dental Assistant

## OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience with Eaglesoft, 3D scanners, X-Rays, and possess knowledge in areas such as Four-Handed Dentistry, Prosthodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry.## Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work- Take and develop dental X-rays- Manage medical records and documentation- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies## Preffered candidates:- Certification or associate degree in Dental Assisting- Bilingual in spanish preffered but not required for position- Knowledge of Four-Handed Dentistry techniques- Familiarity with Prosthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry procedures- Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentJoin our team to contribute to the delivery of exceptional dental care while expanding your skills in a supportive environment.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Paid time offMedical Specialty:* Anesthesiology* Pediatrics* Perioperative Care* RadiologySchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayExperience:* Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* X-Ray Certification (Required)Ability to Commute:* Charlottesville, VA 22901 (Required)Work Location: In person
