JOIN OUR TEAM AS A NIGHT REGISTERED NURSE MANAGER (RN)!$5,000 Sign-On Bonus ++ 100% employer-paid benefits OR additional pay if opt-out!NightsYour Work Matters How will you make a difference?Lake Behavioral Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse Manager (RN) who will assist the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in directing the activities of licensed and non-licensed nursing staff personnel. This position assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing policies and procedures, nursing services, and activities consistent with the facility's goals and objectives. The RN Manager actively participates in a nursing leadership role under the direct supervision of the CNO.We are looking for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients. The Registered Nurse Manager assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members following the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.Assist withsupervising 24-hour nursing services for the facility. This includes, but is not limited to, medication administration and special procedures such as restraint or seclusion.Assists in medical emergencies, assessing complications and clarifying special medicalprocedures as needed.Responsible for assisting in selecting Nursing Services staff, including interviewing, making recommendations to the CNO, and working with Human Resources to complete the hiring process.Develop, implement, and revise Nursing Services policies and proceduresand nursing systems withinthe guidelines of the facility, under the directions of the CNO, and considering the suggestions of the nursing staff, nursing care standards, and regulations.Review the progress, quality, and effectiveness of all nursing services.Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times a day, including the beginning and end of the shift.Assist in evaluating nursing care practices and initiate and/or conduct audits applicable to nursingservices.Assist the CNO in developing long- and short-term projects, as well as the goals andobjectives of Nursing Services.Your Experience Matters What were looking for:Education: Master's Degree in psychiatric nursing or related field preferred.Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in nursing management in psychiatric nursing ispreferred.Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.Additional Requirements: A thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, and OSHA regulations and all other state and federal regulatory standards is preferred.
