You will be part of a high functioning team that ensures Configuration Management (CM) processes and procedures are implemented and compliant with contractual and internal requirements. In this role you will review, prepare, submit, and manage Item Masters (Part #'s, Bill of Materials) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) per all applicable ISO processes utilizing Empower Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool. Check all documents/drawings for accuracy, manage ï¬les and administrate archives. Process test data in accordance with internal procedures. Utilize status accounting and performance metrics within the scope of Engineering design documentation. Assist and train internal customers regarding process and PLM system execution when needed. Provide backup support to other coordinators/analysts and occasional support on special projects. May assist with internal or external audits.Job ResponsibilitiesProcess Item Master and Engineering Change Orders per processes on schedule with a critical focus on accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Perform detail review of drawings/documents for correctness per configuration management's checklist Perform detail review of test data per process Assemble technical data packages for delivery to customer/suppliers Perform various configuration management activities in support of the Engineering organization Act as a resource for department needs in the areas of training, troubleshooting, and project coordination Act as the internal customer contact point on supported projects for CM matters Support Change Control Board (CCB) activities Show excellent teamwork in support of customer needs for quality work products and on-time deliveries Demonstrate the ability to plan, manage, and communicate progress on assignments Identify opportunities for improvementQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDExcellent attention to detail and processAbility to follow processes verbatimMust be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as neededThe ability to work effectively as part of a team and with cross-functional teams Solid communication skills Experience with MS Office applications and knowledge of SharePoint and ConfluenceKnowledge of military and commercial CM requirements, specifications, and standardsConfiguration Management experienceExperience with the application of CM-related policies, procedures, and toolsKnowledge of PLM tools (Omnify/Empower, Arena, Windchill) in regard to the control and structure of parts, Bill of Materials, documentation/drawingsWorking knowledge of engineering change and revision control processesWorking knowledge of ISO and CMMI practicesWorking knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools and principals (CostPoint, SAP, Oracle)U.S. Citizenship required.
