Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.Schedule: This is a Float position. Full-time, four 10-hour shifts starting at 5:45; Sundays off; no overnight shiftsCompensation: Pay range depending on nursing and dialysis experience. $5,000 sign on bonusBenefits:Paid 12-week training with preceptorComprehensive medical, dental and vision benefitsLife and long-term care insurance provided at no additional expense to employeePaid time off (PTO) including holidaysExtended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO - paid time for doctor appointments, sickness or medical leaveRetirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percentEducation reimbursementEmployee assistance programWellness programAmong othersResponsibilities:What You Can Expect:Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are metPerform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and proceduresOngoing patient education, training and health coachingMonitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and familiesAdminister and chart all prescribed medicationsFollow CDC/CMS infection control regulationsParticipate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviewsDocument required patient education effortsFacilitate continuity of care with local hospitalsAssist in medication inventory maintenanceLead a small patient care teamContribute to onboarding new staff members as directedAdditional tasks as requestedQualifications:Successful Candidates Bring:Excellent communication skillsDemonstrated clinical excellenceDesire to collaborate with care teamsAbility to problem solveEducation/Training:Accredited nursing degree requiredDialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities availableDCI provides 3-months of comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills trainingNew graduates encouraged to applyDCI is committed to building a diverse and inclusive organization.
