Enhance your career by joining a reputable ABA agency, ASI!About the PositionExperienced Direct Interventionist (ABA Therapist) are provided by staff trained in basic behavior analytic principles. One-to-One services are provided to the consumer to address skill deficits and behavioral excesses using a variety of behavior analytic strategies. These services involve interacting with the consumer, implementing intervention plans, keeping ongoing data and adjusting contingencies to affect targeted behavior positively.QualificationsHave completed 40 hours of ABA TrainingMet and surpassed all competency expectationsAble to work with a variety of diagnosis, ability levels and ages of clientsAbility to commit to a schedule for over 6 monthsBe reliable and competent in attendance and communicationConduct themselves in a professional, responsible and reliable mannerHave a motivation to learn new skills and help peopleBe over the age of 18Possess a valid driver's license, have access to reliable transportation and have proof of automotive insuranceDependable, prompt and regular attendance requiredComplete and pass live scan fingerprint checkBe available to commute to different locations to provide services, including long distances and from location to location within a sessionPossess a high school diploma or equivalent such as General Educational Development (GED)Frequently lift objects weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds from a lower to a higher position and/or frequently move objects weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds horizontally from position-to-positionMove about to accomplish tasks or to go from one location to anotherAscend or descend stairsRemain in a stationary positionSitBend at the waistCollect written and computer-driven data while understanding basic computer operationsVisually track one or more clients engaging in gross motor and fine motor activitiesPursue a client who is running away, eloping, or fleeing from staff in a manner to attain safe containmentPrevent a client from mouthing itemsPrevent client from engaging in self-injurious behaviorSuccessfully complete the minimum competency training and/or pass tests demonstrating knowledge included in the minimum competency trainingPerform intensive behavioral intervention; Mobility, Tactile Processing, Visual Processing, Audio ProcessingAvailable to work Monday-Friday: 8 AM-3 PMJob DescriptionWorks under the supervision of the Lead, Supervisor, Manager of Clinical Services, Divisional Clinical Supervisor, Associate Clinical Director, Clinical Director, Human Resource Manager, Executive Clinical Director, Executive DirectorImplements behavior services at client's home, school, and communityImplements behavior intervention as taught, advised, guided and appropriateCollects, records and summarizes data on target behaviorsMaintains updated notebook and record of consumer's programImplements changes as requested by the supervisorMonitors consumers' program and progressAttends and participates in team meetingsCollaborates with parents and other personnel working with the consumerProvides parent education under the supervision of the SupervisorHelps to create stimuli for the programCompensation and Benefits:Competitive compensation based on education and experienceAccess to ASI office and materialsFlexible schedulesPaid mileage and drive time401 K for eligible employeesPeriodic reviews and advancement opportunitiesOpportunity for growth within the companyProvides supervision hours towards BCBA or MFT supervision hours
