We are committed to fostering a work environment focused on teamwork that celebrates diversity, promotes equity and ensures equal access to information, development and opportunity for all of our Healthcare Pros.Position Overview:The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.Essential Job Functions:Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist the physicians, nurses and other technical and administrative staff in meeting the needs of individual patients throughout the facility.Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment including but not limited to X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACSPerform all imaging exams in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws and ensure the physician on duty is notified of the resultsPerform basic clinical procedures under the direction of the physician and/or nurse on dutyMaintain all required documentation, logs, charts, forms and records in paper and electronic formatsCollect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulationsMaintain an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables to perform quality testingPerform all routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks following established protocol for all imaging equipmentPerform Quality Control as established by this laboratoryPerform Proficiency Testing and/or Split Sample analysis periodically as established by this facilityRetain records of all analytic activities performed for a minimum of two yearsPerform all Quality Assessment activities assigned to this position and document these activities for periodic review by the Laboratory Supervisor and/or the Laboratory DirectorOther Job Functions:Perform duties as ER Technician as neededMaintain an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables to perform quality testingPerform all routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks following established protocol for all imaging equipmentTravel to all facility locations as requiredAttend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as requiredPerform additional duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:High School diploma or GED, requiredGraduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, requiredAssociate's Degree in Radiology, preferredCertified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing, requiredCT Certification, preferredCT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography requiredRegistered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography, preferredCurrent BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred1+ years of CT experience, preferred1+ years of emergency room experience, preferredProficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACSPosition requires fluency in English; written and oral communication#INDOKC
