Hattie Larlham is looking for caring and compassionate Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) who want to be part of a mission based on the Comfort, Joy, and Achievement of individuals with disabilities.Opening:Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Location: Nestled in northern Portage County, between Cleveland and Akron, is the Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities, a long-term residential facility that provides medical services for 124 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Schedule: Full-Time 36 hours per week, 12-hr shifts, every other weekend required.Pay: Market leading rates with generous shift differential!Rewards and Benefits:$34.55 - $41.93 starting rate per hour with shift differential.Safe and joyful work environment.Affordable medical plan options, including dental and vision, start 1st of the month after hire.Life insurance at no cost to you for full-time staff.Generous employer match retirement program.Employee referral bonus program - up to $2000 per referral.Six (6) paid holidays per year for full-time staff.168 hours of annual Paid Time Off that starts after 90 days of employment for full-time staff.Robust employee recognition and appreciation programs.No uniforms required.Tattoos, body piercings, and fun colored hair are accepted.Conveniently located near I-480 and the Ohio Turnpike.Requirements & Qualifications:Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.Current Ohio state license of active status and without disciplinary action.Associate or bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from an AMA-approved school.BCLS certification - free training / recertification provided.Experience in chronic care and ventilators, and knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferred.Responsibilities and Daily Duties:Provide high quality respiratory therapy services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Manage acute and chronic respiratory problems.Maintain appropriate documentation and communicating effectively.Work as a team to ensure high quality health services to each person served.Assist with training / mentoring of new Respiratory Therapist staff as assigned.Complete checklists, incident reports, data collection, monthly summaries.Demonstrate respect, trust, and confidentiality regarding persons served, families, and co-workers.Other related duties as requested by the direct supervisor.About: Hattie Larlham is a not-for-profit disability service organization providing care and support to over 1,600 children and adults throughout Ohio.
