*Job description*Shine Pediatric Therapy is seeking an energetic and passionate BCBA to join our growing multidisciplinary team working with children from ages 2-7! Shine opened in October 2022 with a goal of providing fun, engaging, and neurodiversity affirming care within a play-based learning environment.The BCBA will work closely, and collaborate with, other team members to ensure coordination of care and generalization of skills. This is a salaried role with a weekly bonus available based upon billable hours.*Essential Functions:** Administers, conducts, evaluates, and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment and functional assessment measures* Develops individualized goals and objectives for programs and designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data* Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented to ensure that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the analysis of goals and objectives* Trains clinical staff on the proper implementation of educational and behavioral programs / plans* Responsible for supervising and facilitating the growth of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)* Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner* Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours according to Shine's policies, insurance regulations, and state / federal regulations* Completes parent / guardian meeting every 4 weeks to review goal progress, treatment plan, behavior intervention plan, and provide parent education* Adheres to the mission, vision, and values of Shine Pediatric Therapy*Required Education and Experience:** A master's degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of child development, special education, psychology, or related field* Active BACB Certification* Demonstrate a thorough understanding of DTT, NET, and other ABA strategies* A minimum of two years' experience working with children with Autism* Active CPR training*Work Environment and Physical Demands:** Ability to lift up-to 25 pounds.* Maintain a caseload of 8-10 children from ages 2-7* Regular contact with parent(s), other team members, and outside agency personnel* Hazards: Incumbent may be exposed to contact with individuals displaying physically aggressive, self-abusive, or socially undesirable behavior.*Position Type/Expected Hours of Work*This is a full-time position.
