Our company culture guides our success, which is at the core of everything we do.Currently, we are in search of an outstanding dental assistant to travel with our Oral Surgeon between offices located in Danbury, Newtown, New Milford, Shelton and Darien.What we offer:A comprehensive benefits package, competitive pay, opportunity to work with an experienced, enthusiastic, and organized team!Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist experienced dentists chairside, using four-handed dentistryPreparation of treatment rooms, ensuring instruments and equipment are sterileBreakdown of treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments are returned for sterilization promptlyDaily morning meeting and team schedule review, anticipating the doctor's needs in advanceSet up trays as indicated by the days' charts and doctor's anticipated needsGreet, seat, and screen patients - communicating patient concerns effectively to the doctorTake alginates, pour and trim models or scan utilizing the iTero scannerTake diagnostic x-rays (PA, Bitewing, Panoramic, 3D/CBCT) as neededKeep operatory fully stockedRequirements:Superior customer service skills, with the ability to infuse personality, empathy, and enthusiasm into each patient contactMust be willing to travel between Danbury, Newtown, New Milford, Shelton and Darien.Must have a minimum of 3 years experience chairside assisting in Oral Surgery & IV Sedation.Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider, certified through the American Heart AssociationDANB Radiation Health & Safety CertificationDANB Infection Control CertificationWillingness to learn & growHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)A desire to become part of our family-oriented team & support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible!Benefits401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee (and family!) dental planFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insuranceReferral programRetirement planAt Dental Associates of Connecticut, an office supported by Archway Dental Partners, we're committed to supporting you.
