Tax Manager

Are you looking to make your mark on a firm, and be instrumental in its growth trajectory?Due to significant growth, this small CPA firm in Cambridge is looking for a Tax Manager.You will join a small firm with a pretty relaxed culture that prides itself on its high-quality client service and attention to detail.This firm utilizes all of the latest technology and is 100% digital. You will be working mostly on individual returns up to $3m AGI, and some corps, as well as some international work, financial planning and building lasting client relationships. You'll need to be comfortable speaking directly to clients and signing returns.The owner of this firm has a large company background, which he didn't enjoy and has therefore created the culture of this firm based on what he wished he had. You won't be watched over in this firm. You will have the support you need to succeed, but you will have freedom and flexibility in every aspect. You will have freedom to make this what you want it to be. They bill themselves on the high end, so you will be expected to do things right, over doing things fast.During tax season you won't be expected to work any more than 55 hours. They work on a flat fee basis, so you won't have to worry about billable hours at all.You'll get Fridays off over the summer, and you will be eligible for their very lucrative bonus scheme. You'll get 3 weeks vacation and 10 days' holiday.For the right person, there is the option to have equity within a few years.They are growing consistently, so the growth opportunities at this firm are endless.
