Payment/Charge Poster

PLEASE BE SURE TO COMPLETE THE EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE PROFILES AFTER CLICKING SUBMIT.The Physicians' Clinic of Iowa Central Business Office is seeking a full-time Payment Poster.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Electronically or manually post insurance checks to proper account by date of service and procedure codes stated on the explanation of benefits.Review Exception Reports and correct posted data. Transfer any balances to patient or second insurance.Process contract adjustments and/or write offs per established guidelines.Sort and alpha file EOBs for imaging.Process insurance carrier recoups as necessary.Balance daily journal per established guidelines.Post patient personal payments per established guidelines.Keep a daily log of all payments posted and balance with the daily totals off computer at the end of each day.Process all credit card payments via on-line program and post payment amount to patient account.Assist with the month end close process as assigned.Applicants should possess strong communication and customer service skills as well as basic computer skills.
