Associate Principal, Quality Asssurance

What You'll Do:This role will drive analysis with regard software deliverables, requirements, and testing process, in support of testing of OCC Ovation core business applications. Responsibilities include refinement of test approaches, coordination of a holistic approach for implementation on automated testing solutions to ensure high quality of software deliverables; in addition to providing visibility and reporting capabilities for overall testing processes. This position will liaison between Product Owners, Tech Owners, and the testing team within order to support the functional validation of delivered software against requirements. This position requires a mix of business analytical skills and technical knowledge.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.Completes analytical work related to application requirements and test artifact creations such as test cases and scenariosAssisting in planning, coordination, and execution of test activitiesServing as liaison and advising the Business and Product teams in relation to test requirementsIdentifying, assisting in triage of identified defects with business and technology groupsAligning test approaches to overall strategy and assisting in executionWhere required, preparing, documenting, and reviewing test cases and scenariosAssists in prioritization of test cases and scenarios for automation purposesMaintains traceability and provides ownership for test casesCompiles testing outcomes in an easy to review and clear formatReports progress on a regular basis to numerous stakeholders including but not limited to Product Owner, Tech Owner, Project Management, Accountable Executives and othersParticipates in release control processIdentifies risks and raises mitigation strategiesPerforms other duties as assignedProvides leadership to more junior team resources and assists in upskillingCompletes analysis at a product level and provides feedback and clarifications for testing teams on approach, scenarios, etcPerforms other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities:No direct supervisory responsibilities but should provide leadership and guidance to more junior resources, may be required to handle scrum master type duties and oversee testing activities as requested by managementQualifications:The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
