SummaryDevelop the Renaissance integration and testing strategy and manage the integration and testing of the applications/services developed by the Clearing, Risk, and Data Pillar teams. Lead a team of 40-60 resources responsible for the testing of integration points and end-to-end functional and non-functional features.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the integration quality of the applications/services by applying business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies using quality processes and methodologies•Build, inspire, and guide a high-performance team to deliver best in class integration QA servicesProvide leadership, input, and oversight to project delivery, setting standards for quality and testingCollaborate with architecture, development, and business teams to provide cohesive integration plansAssist with driving consistency and standardization for process assurance across the development lifecycle (requirements management, development, functional and system test, release management etc.)Recommend, design, develop, and implement automation frameworksOversee automation frameworks, systems for defect tracking, custom software and repositoriesEnsure integration QA metrics (OKRs) are defined and reported, setting minimal acceptable resultsEnsure translated product requirements are testable and measurableOversee the Renaissance Test Data Management function and ensure Encore test data is effectively and securely delivered as required for development and integrationManage the integration DevOps function, ensuring test environments are made available and are stable as neededInteract with Product Owners, Technology Leads, Project Managers, and Leadership Team members to recommend solutions that best meet the strategic needs of the businessContribute to performance engineering practices by providing inputs on capacity planning, performance tuning, diagnostics, problem detection and resolutionDevelop integration procedures and common metrics to ensure that efficiency, collaboration, and quality standards are achievedManage project planning, including allocation of resources, assignment, and coordinationProvide input on application security testingProvide development teams with integrated test environments as neededTeach/enable team members to use new applications for testing to deploy across OCCInfluence across organizational teams to create alignment and resolve conflictsSupervisory DutiesManages a team of 40-60 individuals including people managers, individual contributors, and consultants/contractorsQualificationsMinimum ten (7) years' experience with leading the design and set-up of test automation frameworks, processes, and toolsExperience with BDD methodologies & automated acceptance testingExperience with Agile development processes for enterprise software solutionsSolid understanding of options and derivatives clearing and settlement business processesStrong organizational leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple, competing priorities and make decisions quicklyCapability to support processes and development teams across a diversified group of business segmentsKnowledgeable about industry trends, best practices, and change managementStrong communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers, coworkers, and Executive ManagementStrong work ethic, hands-on, detail oriented with a customer service mentalityTeam player, self-driven, motivated, and able to work under pressureResults-oriented and demonstrated record of developing initiatives that impact productivityTechnical SkillsSoftware test design best practicesSoftware QA methodologies (requirements analysis, test planning, functional testing, usability testing, performance testing, etc.)Utilizing best practices in software engineering, software test automation, test management tools, and defect tracking softwarePast/Current experience of 3+ years working on a large-scale cloud native project Experience with cloud technologies and migrations using public cloud vendor preferably using cloud foundational services like AWS's VPCs, Security groups, EC2Education and/or ExperienceBS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management or a similar technical field15+ years of experienceCertificates or LicensesNone RequiredAbout UsThe Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization.
