If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work as an Access Specialist and make a difference in our community.What You Will Be DoingWorking as an Access Specialist you will bring your enthusiasm as a diversity minded professional. You will provide clinical screening and utilization management to children entering the ISK system. The successful candidate will provide mental health, co-occurring disorder, and substance abuse evaluations/screenings, managed care authorizations, and length of stay reviews.What We RequireA Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, and a minimum of three years' experience in the social work, mental health and/or substance abuse field with two of those years working in a clinical capacity with children/youth. CAADC is strongly preferred. Priority consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are fluent in English and Spanish. There is a preference to work 5 - 8-hour shifts (2:00 pm-10:00 pm) (Monday-Friday) accommodations can be made as well.You must also have one of the following Michigan Licensures: Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW). May occasionally require light lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or bending as appropriate. Requires coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot.Working Conditions - Office environment with noise from computers, copy machine, and telephones. Use of computer for periods in excess of 30 minutes at a time. Possible eyestrain from extended periods of computer screen. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and parasites.
