With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world's most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.We are seeking an Asset and Enterprise Risk and Resilience - National Practice Leader to join the Resilience Water Business Area (BA) in the United States.Role Description:This full-time position reports directly to the Resilience Water Management Practice Director and can be based anywhere in the country, preferably on the west coast of the United States. The Asset and Enterprise Risk and Resilience Practice provides comprehensive support to public and private sector clients of varying sizes and complexity levels. Our focus is on identifying and managing risks, enhancing resilience, and addressing a wide range of challenges, including natural and / or other types of risks that impact physical assets, revenue streams, workforce, and more. In this role, you will also work closely with asset management and sustainability advisory teams. Depending on the specific requirements of each client, you may be involved in coordinating detailed engineering solutions, conducting high-level portfolio analyses, or handling objectives that fall in between these extremes. The overarching goal is to deliver tailored strategies and solutions that safeguard our clients' assets and promote the resilience of their enterprises.As the National Practice Leader, you will collaborate with the Practice Director and other leaders to create innovative strategies and value propositions for growth and market positioning nationwide. You will obtain an understanding of clients' asset and enterprise risk and resilience-related needs, examine emerging issues and market trends, evaluate competitors, mentor others, and provide operational and technical support to team leads and practitioners.Success in this role will be measured by sustained, profitable growth, diversified services tailored to client needs, strengthening our position in existing markets, expanding into new markets, delivering exceptional client experiences, and fostering coordination, career growth, and operational excellence for our team.Role Accountabilities:As National Practice Leader, you will work with cross-functional teams to develop successful proposals, incorporating technical solutions, pricing, and delivery strategies for asset and enterprise risk and resilience-related projects. You will also partner with other Practice Leaders and technical experts to establish and execute standards for asset and enterprise risk and resilience and ensure effective coordination of asset and enterprise risk and resilience-related practitioners. Additional responsibilities include:Partnering with Practice Leaders and technical experts to establish and execute Practice standards and quality control approaches asset and enterprise risk and resilience.Ensuring projects are delivered consistently and per practice standards and processes.Serving as the Pursuit Lead on major and strategic pursuitsCollaborating with others to develop and implement a thought leadership strategy.Acting as a thought leader in respective core practices and a trusted advisor to clients, focusing on solidifying relationships and providing high-quality service.Ensuring Arcadis interests are represented in national conferences and collaborating with industry professionals to share knowledge and insights.Providing technical support and mentoring junior and mid-level staff. Help ensure that business operations are supportive of staff needs to deliver and grow.Participating in discussions regarding hiring strategy and requirements, facilitating coordination among team members, and contributing to the decision-making process. Conducting interviews and assessing candidates as part of the recruitment process.Maintaining awareness of and assisting with the workload balance for Practice staff, while also identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities. Collaborating with the team and discipline leads to achieve these goals effectively.Traveling, as needed, for client meetings and project coordination activitiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Planning, or a related field5 years of experience leading asset and enterprise risk and resilience related projects10 years of consulting delivery experience with an environmental engineering or management consulting firm or equivalent experience with a large municipality, agency, or business.Preferred Qualifications:Masters Degree in Technology, Planning, Engineering, M.B.A., M.P.A, Economics, or related fieldCertified Planning, Professional Engineering Certification, PMP, or other certificationKey Skills and Attributes:Comprehensive knowledge of asset and enterprise risk and resilience, such as asset and portfolio-based climate risk assessments, J100 solutions, hazard mitigation operations and emergency response strategies, and/or climate-informed asset management including tools, techniques, and methodologies used to achieve successful outcomes.Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to articulate a client asset and enterprise risk and resilience practice point of view and thought leadership.Ability to articulate the strategic value of asset and enterprise risk and resilience-related services to client executives and stakeholders.Proven ability to implement innovative asset and enterprise risk and resilience-related initiatives to help clients.Ability to lead and motivate by influence.Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
