Join Eden's team as a Teaching Assistant, and work alongside some of the best teachers, therapists, support staff, and behavior analysts!At Eden Autism Services, our Teaching Assistants are more than just classroom support. They educate, encourage, collaborate, and advocate. Under direct supervision of certified teachers, and the clinical support of BCBAs, our Teaching Assistants implement instructional and behavior reduction programs for students with autism ages 3-21. Responsibilities include:Implement IEP goals using Applied Behavior Analysis-based strategies.Utilize behavior support plans and crisis management techniques to assist in managing challenging behaviors such as tantrums, self-injury, and/or aggression.Collect teaching and behavior data; maintain graphs for all programs.Contribute to the development of instructional and behavior management programs.Develop quarterly progress reports with in-depth summaries of growth and problem areas.Tending to daily physical self-care needs of the students (e.g., toileting, dressing, showering, etc.).This is a full time position - Monday through Friday, 8:30am-3:00pm.Compensation starts at $16 per hour, dependent on Education and Experience levels.Qualifications:Valid, unsuspended driver's license and clean driving record is requiredEducation Requirements:Minimum of high school diplomaBachelor's degree or enrollment in college program preferredPhysical Abilities:Lift and/or move up to 50lbs.Sit, stand, bend, squat, kneel, stretch, stoop, and/or reach above shoulder level for extended periods of time.Pass and maintain Professional Crisis Management (PCM) certification, including implementation of all strategies and techniques.Skills & Knowledge:Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Demonstrated ability to solve problems, exercise independent judgement, and make appropriate decisions based on established policies and procedures.What you'll love about Eden:Benefits: Eden offers a well-rounded benefits package including medical and dental, life insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and more.Growth: In addition to tuition assistance, we have many opportunities for team building and professional development.Core Values: Believe More + Do What it Takes + Work Together + Show Compassion + Be TrueIf you have experience in any of the following fields, we encourage you to apply:Autism, Developmental Disabilities, Special Education, Paraprofessional, ABA Therapy, Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Behavioral Health, RBT, Behavior Technician, Direct SupportEden Autism Services is an E-Verify Employer.Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:* 403(b)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Retirement plan* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to Friday
