Work closely with Physicists and the clinical teams to evaluate new systems and functionality to include hardware and infrastructure requirements.Collaborate, assist and/or train other IT Systems Analysts to provide support.The analyst focuses on the application, database, environment, user experience, and sub-system performance of these clinical applications.Consults with clinical end users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.Writes and/or reviews manuals for users to describe systems procedures as they relate to department's operations.Works on moderately complex projects requiring understanding of radiation oncology clinical applications to define project requirements and performs data collection and analysis.Reviews, analyzes, and modifies the radiation oncology systems including configuration, testing, debugging, modification, activation, on-going support and installation of new applications.Participates in rotating standby support of imaging systems.QualificationsExperience with managing complex projects involving a large number of stakeholdersBachelor's degree in Information / Computer science, business / Public health administration, healthcare or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.At least three years of experience in the following is required- supporting a Radiology Oncology Information System (ROIS), Radiology Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) or Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) in a radiation oncology office or other medical facility.Coordination of IT implementation projects/applications.Knowledge of medical modalities, human anatomy and exams conducted in a radiation oncology department, image transmission and DICOM Modality worklist.General knowledge of typical integrated (HL7) Clinical Applications environments.Demonstrated analytical/problem solving skills, abilities and organizational skills.Project coordination/management experience preferred.Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Experience with the following computer applications is preferred: Varian ARIA ROI, Varian Eclipse, Varian Ethos, Varian Edge, Varian Doselab, Varian Edge (TrueBeam), Varian Velocity, Varian Mobius, Varian Identify, Varian Variseed, Elekta MOSAIQ, Radformations, Adaptive 3D Bolus, Citrix and/or Epic.License/Certification/Registration RequirementsValid California driver's license and proof of insurance.Ages of Patients Served N/ASalary Range:$61.20 - $91.80 USD HourlyThe Physical Requirements and Working Conditions of this job are available.
