For students, for future generations, for the future of education.What You'll ContributeThe Specialist, Collections will be responsible for performing collection activities in an effort to recover losses from assigned accounts.What You'll Do•Deliver a world class customer experience while gaining commitments from the customer to making payments on their past due accounts.•Initiate contact with our customers via telephone by inbound and outbound calls.•Document all activities including communication records, payments, repayment option enrollments and any relevant information obtained during the customer interaction.What You Have Minimum education, skills and experience required.•Ability to demonstrate empathy while being assertive to achieve the required outcome.•Meet and exceed quality goals, compliance regulations and productivity targets individually and team environment•Strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills.•Build meaningful relationships with our customers by offering repayment programs while gathering information to understand their financial situation.•Excellent negotiating, probing, influencing and resourcefulness skillsWhat we're looking for :•Professionalism: Be the welcoming voice to our customers•Energetic and driven: Bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to the role•Tech Savvy: basic computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suite•In office requirements: ability to work in office but have flexibility to work from home some days.•The first 60 days of employment you are required to work in the office with a schedule of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.•Education & Experience: experience in customer service and or collections related roles.
