This includes ensuring understanding and adoption of digital and traditional banking services. Creates an environment of personal accountability and one which is consistent with our culture. Ensures all banking centers have clear goals, and personnel is working towards meeting such goals, which contributes toward the continued growth and profitability of the Banking Center Department and the entire bank.Essential Job Duties:The Vice President shall ensure that we operate top-flight banking centers. This shall be accomplished by (a) fostering an environment of personal accountability consistent with bank culture; (b) ensuring that all banking center colleagues have clear goals and development plans (they know what to do); (c) coordinating the management and monitoring of colleague efforts toward goal fulfillment (they do it); (d) ensuring that policies and procedures promote excellence in client service, compliance, and efficiency. He/she shall work with colleagues to ensure that our traditional and digital products and services are competitive and meet the needs of our marketplace.Functions:Identifies and facilitates training related to effective relationship building behaviors, customer experience, products, services, and procedures. Ensures a consistent training experience for all Banking Center Department new hires.Reviews and assesses staffs skills to identify opportunities for improvement, then takes action to develop and implement such initiatives.Coaches in the moment and executes on behaviors in alignment with the established sales and service model. Supports sales and promotional programs with creativity and energy in order to achieve goals and meet or exceed quality standards.Ensures that Banking Centers uphold established Hickory Point Bank Service Excellence Standards and consistently execute established behaviors.Fosters an environment of professionalism, striving for excellence, and a desire for learning and development amongst the Banking Center Department.Identifies and recommends opportunities for innovation and efficiency within the Banking Center Department.Daily structuring in identifying training opportunities to Banking Center Managers, which include suggestions and topics for review during daily huddles.Ensures all training material and initiatives are in compliance with bank regulations, policies and procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher7 years leadership experience in branch banking environment5 years of experience in branch management or branch operationsDemonstrated leadership, sales and customer service skillsEffective training, coaching, and mentoring skillsEffective time management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSolid understanding of banking services and productsThis job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature andlevel of work performed by job holders within this job.
