Description:Axle Funding with offices in Carmel, IN and Dallas TX is seeking to fill an opening for a Credit Processing Assistant.The Credit Processing Assistant is responsible for assisting in various functions within the Credit Department to include processing contracts, filing state UCC liens and other various job duties for auto auction floorplan credit lines on current and potential customers. This role will report to Credit Management.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepping received applications to include required documentation, credit bureau requests, background searches and other various internal requirements for the Credit team to reviewInteract with field personnel to resolve open items relating to credit and contractingProcesses all aspects of UCC filings to include filing Original UCC, UCC Amendments, UCC Continuations and UCC Terminations so that appropriate collateral positioning is achievedMonitors all PMSI Notices received from other UCC lien holders so that appropriate collateral positing is maintainedResponsible for customer account updates to include email, phone, address, and other various changesDevelop relationships with internal personnel and provide customer service supportCompletes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports Axle Funding goals and valuesServe as a conduit between Credit, Compliance and Collection Leadership as needed to minimize bad debt riskSupport other management directives as prescribedRequirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent requiredEnglish / Spanish Bilingual preferredIn Office required, this is not a remote rolePreferred two to three years' experience in office related areasPreferred experience and/or knowledge in UCC procedure and requirementsPreferred auto auction experience, understanding and knowledgeProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Especially Adobe, Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to work independently and function in a team environment, working in conjunction with other teams to ensure quality and volume objectives are achievedExcellent interpersonal and business communication skillsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from diverse groups, including branch personnel and Executive ManagementDetailed oriented and efficient; ability to organize & prioritize projects; complete multiple tasks on schedule in fast paced environmentPunctual and flexible; ability to report to work on time each day and work extended hours if/when workflow requires or management requests
