TL-PREBLE CRISIS-LISW/PCC

: The Therapist III functions as a member of a team providing crisis services for persons in Montgomery County experiencing mental health and/or alcohol and other drug (AoD) problems. Services may include hotline, brief crisis counseling, suicide prevention, pre-hospitalization screening and probate evaluations, consultation, education, and referral to other community resources. Services may vary as to how and where they are delivered. Some may be delivered by phone, face-to-face at the office, or in a mobile crisis response to hospitals, schools, jails, outside agencies, or in the community. This position may include the duties of a Health Officer and Clinical Supervision as directed.JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:· Master's degree in a relevant social science field.· Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW). Independently Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT). Chemical Dependency credentials or a scope of practice in chemical dependency preferred.· Training and experience in the types of services provided by the team, with age appropriate competency, using the Diagnostic and Statistical manual of Mental Disorders (DSM- 5 or subsequent revisions).· Health Officer training and certification in Montgomery County required.
