We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Clinical Admissions Coordinator to join our team and help reduce vacancies while ensuring clients receive comprehensive care.Key Responsibilities:Determine appropriateness for placement in the residential programConduct biopsychosocial assessments and determine DSM-V diagnosesFacilitate insurance authorizations and communicate with ASO regarding clinical presentation, treatment goals, and discharge criteriaCollaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide direct client care, including crisis intervention and therapyAssist in developing and coordinating care plansTravel to state psychiatric hospitals and community referral sourcesMaintain accurate and complete documentation through electronic health recordsBuild strong relationships with community stakeholders to minimize vacanciesQualifications:Master's degree in Social Work or CounselingActive Maryland license (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC)Strong clinical, rehabilitative, and residential treatment experienceExcellent time management, communication, and customer service skillsProficiency with Microsoft products and electronic health recordsPosition Details:Full-Time: Monday through Friday, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed.Location: Lanham, MD, with travel to hospitals and referral sources as needed.Join us in our mission to cultivate an environment of integrity, respect, and cultural awareness, where individuals can thrive and receive the support they deserve. Salary calculated based on education and experience.Other Compensation: Employees are eligible for bonuses (variable, depending on company and individual performance).PTO: New employees can accrue up to 96 hours of PTO in the first year (pro-rated based on start date). Employees can accrue up to 40 hours of sick leave per calendar year (pro-rated based on start date).Holidays: 8 paid holidays per yearRetirement: 403(b) plan participation available at hire. Employer matching after 1000 hours of service. Discretionary employer contributions are given at least once a year.Health Benefits: Full-time salaried employees are eligible for benefits beginning the first day of the month after hire.
