You will enhance your technical skills, build your network, discover new industries, and gain confidence with the support of the DGPerry team.Primary duties include:Prepare financial statements for clientsAudit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulationsDevelop audit objectives, plans, and scope by reviewing available information and conducting researchHelp design, implement, and maintain internal audit procedures and risk assessment processesPrepare audit findings, write audit reports, and develop recommendationsEnsure compliance with all applicable plans, policies, and standardsStay current on industry trends, and best accounting and audit practiceEnsure accuracy of financial informationFollow up on audit recommendationsReview work done by staff or interns on selected projectsAssist in the development of other staff and internsCandidate must possess the following qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in AccountingMinimum of 3 years of auditing experience at an experienced public accounting firmCPA preferredPossess good analytical and problem solving skillsProficiency with all Microsoft and Thomson Reuters applicationsPositive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skillsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality, strong ethics and business conductAbility to evaluate situations and modify behavior accordinglyAbility to multitask and prioritize, strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to develop and maintain positive relationships through all levels of the organizationDemonstrates ability to take initiative and exercise time management skillsDelegate to others to provide growth and learning opportunitiesAbility to network, build positive relationships and develop businessWe value our team members and offer a very competitive salary and benefits package.
