Applicants that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.SciTec has an immediate opportunity for a talented Government Contract Accountant.ResponsibilitiesReview and set up of federal government contracts into Deltek Costpoint contracts & accounting software systemBilling and reporting of Cost Reimbursable, Fixed Price and T&M federal government contractsMonitoring of contract performancePreparation of government compliance support schedulesGeneral ledger and job cost ledger reconciliationsSupport annual Incurred Cost and Provisional Billing Rate submissionsSupport audit activities with the customer, DCAA, and/or DCMAImplement automation of accounting operationsOther duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with accounting coursesMust be a U.S. CitizenAt least 2 years of progressive experience with federal government contract accounting including indirect rate analysisExperience billing Cost Reimbursable, Fixed Price and T&M payments in a government contracting environmentWorking knowledge and understanding of the FAR, DFAR and CAS guidelines/proceduresThorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting PrincipalsExpert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office softwareStrong ability to multi-task and work under pressureStrong organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamDetail orientedGood verbal and written communication skillsCandidates who have the following skills will be preferredExperience using Deltek Costpoint*Resumes, Cover Letters, and Applications which are generated by AI will not be considered for employment.BenefitsSciTec offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including:Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)3% Fully Vested Company 401K Contribution (no employee contribution required)100% company paid HSA Medical insurance, with a choice of 2 buy-up options80% company paid Dental insurance100% company paid Vision insurance100% company paid Life insurance100% company paid Long-term Disability insuranceShort-term Disability insuranceAnnual Profit-Sharing PlanDiscretionary Performance BonusPaid Parental LeaveGenerous Paid Time Off, including Holiday, Vacation, and Sick PayFlexible Work HoursThe pay range for this position is $71,000 - $107,000 / year.
