At Whisker, life together just keeps getting better.Whisker is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan and Juneau, Wisconsin with 500+ passionate team members.What You'll Do:As the Hardware Test Manager you will lead a team of validation engineers and technicians with coordination and execution of precise, and efficient standardized laboratory testing to aid in the development of the next generation of high-quality, connected consumer robotics products.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manages schedules of test engineers to satisfy up to four ongoing concurrent programs from Engineering Verification (EVT), Design Validation (DVT) through Production Validations (PVT).Writes and maintains test plans for consumer robotic products.Performs tests, gathers data, and writes results/reports with assistance from Hardware and Quality Engineering, utilizing various types of electro-mechanical equipment.Reads schematics, assembly drawings, data sheets, and processes sheets to perform testing, build fixtures, check out and trouble-shoot equipment.Assists in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root causes.Will perform additional responsibilities when requiredLeadership Responsibilities:Directly supervises department Teams. Carries out supervisory responsibilities following Whisker policies and applicable laws.
