We have an extraordinary talent base and invite you to consider joining MissionSquare Retirement's Revenue & Sales team.Present financial planning seminars at the Deferred Compensation Plan Headquarters On-Site location and agency Work-site locations of various NYC agencies. The goal is to establish The New York City Deferred Compensation plan, (client of MissionSquare Retirement), as the sole necessary resource for financial planning guidance in advance of, and throughout retirement. Seminar presentations and telephone calling campaigns serve as platforms with which to deepen relationships with and retain plan participants as well as serve to grow plan participation.When requested by a plan participant, Associate Manager, Financial Planning will create and deliver financial plans in person, with a Financial Planning Manager present, at the headquarters location. (Must be a Certified Financial Planner)Essential Functions for this role include:Assist in department calling campaigns, individual financial planning sessions, seminar, and handout updates, and conducting financial planning seminars within the assigned geographic area.Responsible for staying current on all NYC Deferred Compensation Plan services as well as additional City-Wide employee benefits. Keep current with the financial planning industry at large.Be able to present all NYC Deferred Compensation On-Site seminars which include but are not limited to the following topics: Retirement Planning, Money and Credit, Estate Planning, Social Security & Medicare, Distribution Planning, NYCE IRA and Tax Planning.Using highly effective presentation and personal communication skills, make concepts and reports understandable when delivering seminars and financial plans to participants.Other duties and projects as assigned for the program.Will be required to present both before and after normal business hours.If you have the following skills, we encourage you to apply:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceOne to three years of experience.CFP, FINRA 7 and 63Industry expertise in 457, 401, 403b, IRA's and other qualified retirement plansEffective presentation skills to large groupsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationshipsThorough knowledge of NYC Deferred Compensation Plan products and servicesKnowledge of other City-Wide Retirement PlansKnowledge of MissionSquare Retirement's seminars To benefit your career and support your wellbeing, we offer:Competitive Total Rewards (compensation and benefits) package, including 401(k) Plan with matching contributionsVaried incentive plansFlexible/Hybrid work schedulesWellness programsTuition reimbursementProfessional and career development coursesMentoring programsVolunteerism program As a company, MissionSquare Retirement is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
