Full-Time Senior Accountant!As a Senior Accountant with Lenape Valley Foundation, you will be an integral part of a genuinely supportive and collaborative culture. Don't worry, we have them covered, too!!What You'll Offer:Bachelor's Degree with Accounting or Business ConcentrationMaster's Degree and/or CPA PreferredOver 5 years progressively responsible experience in finance and accountingProficiency in Excel and Microsoft OfficePreferred experience in:Grants and Contracts AdministrationNon-Profit &/or healthcare experienceMIP SoftwareAbility to perform the physical requirement of the job description, with or without accommodation.What You'll Do:Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account informationMaintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss, and other statementsReview journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy and update controller of any discrepanciesGrants management and grants accountingReviews, adjusts as necessary, and performs monthly data upload from the billing system into the accounting systemPreparation of Standard Operating Procedures for duties assignedAssist in gathering and reconciling data for annual audits as requiredAbout Lenape Valley FoundationLenape Valley Foundation (LVF) is a premier, non-profit provider of essential human services since 1958.
