*Position Overview:*The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting department's operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the efficient management of financial resources. This role requires strong leadership skills, advanced knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.*Key Responsibilities:** *Financial Reporting:* Prepare and oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and relevant regulations.* *Data Entry Oversight:* Ensure accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems; monitor data entry processes to maintain data integrity and accuracy.* *Budgeting and Forecasting:* Lead the annual budgeting process and develop financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.* *Team Leadership:* Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance.* *Compliance:* Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations, including tax laws and financial reporting standards.* *Audit Coordination:* Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and facilitate annual audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit inquiries.* *Collaboration:* Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, operations, and HR) to align financial objectives with organizational goals.*Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.* Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting practices.* Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Navision, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.*Work Environment:** This position typically operates in an office setting, with some opportunities for remote work.*Compensation:** DOQ salary and benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, cellphone, company car and fuel.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $78,851.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Company car* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
