We're looking for a proactive professional to oversee Accounts Receivable and Credit functions. From setting customer credit limits to managing payment applications and reconciling discrepancies, you'll play a key role in our financial health. If you're ready to take calculated risks and make impactful decisions, we want to hear from you!Schedule:8:00am - 4:30pmMonday - FridayWhat will I do in this role?Responsible for credit analysis which includes Dun & Bradstreet, references and determining credit limits, terms, and worthiness along with responding to outside credit inquiries.Ability to distill a variety of data points into a credit limit that will allow Belmark to grow, while ensuring timely payment.Manage customer credit queue by holding or releasing production jobs and/or shipping status.Responsible for all Accounts Receivable functions which includes applying customer payments, reconciling discrepancies, following up on invoice deductions, issuing credits as necessary, etc.Responsible for the processing of Accounts Receivable aging reports and the recordkeeping related to payments made.Process customer credit card payments through third-party portal.Complete various month-end closing processesResponsible for handling customer inquiries related to their account balance.Track and communicate unearned discounts to customers.Review incoming customer bankruptcy documents.Analyze and prepare any bad debt write-offs along with preparing collections proceedings.Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.Great benefits for the entire family!Health, Dental, Vision plan with Wellness discountFREE On-site Health ClinicFlexible Spending AccountLife Insurance401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan with 6% matchPaid vacation AND personal timePaid holidays beginning day oneEmployee Assistance ProgramFREE On-site Fitness CenterMinimum Qualifications:Requires education as is generally acquired in two (2) years of technical college with an associate degree in accounting or equivalent accounting experience.Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.Regular attendance is required, may be required to work some overtime.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.Ability to operate a computer.Ability to operate a multi-line phone system.Ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment.Ability to type accurately and neatly.Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.Must have excellent interpersonal skills.Must be able to communicate and answer questions in a professional and friendly manner.Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.Non-sales job postings are limited to residents in the states of Wisconsin, Arizona & Kentucky only.Belmark is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
