*Azure Network Engineer**Gilbert, AZ (fully onsite)**/*/*Local Candidates Only/*/**A network engineer is an IT professional responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting an organization's network infrastructure. With the increasing adoption of cloud technologies, many network engineers now also handle cloud network infrastructure.*Key Responsibilities**Network Design and Implementation*· Design and implement network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.· Develop and deploy cloud-based network solutions, such as virtual private networks (VPNs), routing, and switching.· Establish system configurations and direct system installations to meet organizational requirements.*Cloud Network Management*· Design, plan, and implement client-specific cloud solutions, including private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures.· Identify appropriate cloud providers and ensure the cloud network is responsive to user demands.· Develop and implement automation processes to streamline the management of network infrastructure.· Proficient in Azure Services such as Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and more.*Network Maintenance and Support*· Monitor network performance, system availability, and reliability for both on-premises and cloud environments.· Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including hardware, software, and cloud-related problems.· Conduct regular network maintenance, including software and hardware updates.*Security and Compliance*· Implement and maintain network security measures to protect sensitive data and systems.· Ensure that network infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements.· Perform server and security audits, system backups, and recovery.*Collaboration and Training*· Work closely with other IT teams, including developers, operations, and security teams, to ensure network infrastructure meets organizational requirements.· Provide network engineering support and training to other team members.· Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.*Qualifications*A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required.Relevant certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and cloud-specific certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Network Engineer), are highly valued.*Skills*In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).Proficiency in configuring network hardware and software.Experience with cloud technologies, including virtualization, containerization, and orchestration technologies.Strong background in network infrastructure and security technologies.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.*Job Variations*Network Administrator - Manages and maintains the network infrastructure.Network Architect - Designs and plans network infrastructure based on business requirements.Cloud Network Engineer - Specializes in migrating functions and networks to cloud infrastructures and maintaining cloud-based network solutions.Network Security Engineer - Focuses on implementing and maintaining network security measures.Network Support Engineer - Provides technical support and assistance to users experiencing network-related issues.#INDITJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $117,301.00 - $124,923.00 per yearExperience:* Network engineering: 5 years (Required)* Cisco: 3 years (Required)* MS Azue: 4 years (Required)License/Certification:* CCNP (Required)Ability to Commute:* Gilbert, AZ 85297 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Gilbert, AZ 85297: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
