CLIENT SUPPORT INTERNSHIP Overview: The Client Support Intern's primary role is to assist the IT team in providing timely and effective support to the business community regarding daily operations while leveraging the IT Support Ticket system. This includes, but is not limited to, desktop support, application support, printing and training. Their secondary role is to assist with OCE Projects and Initiatives following our IT Strategy. Responsibilities: Assist Installing, configuring, monitoring and deploying desktop hardware/software Process any assigned tickets via the IT Ticket System Assist Investigating and resolving infrastructure issues and escalated support requests Updating software/hardware with the latest patches Provide software applications training Assist in supporting telecommunications operations Training the business community on applications and IT best practices Qualifications Education: 1-2 years at an accredited Information Technology program Experience: Entry level up to 2 years' experience Knowledge of AD, Windows OS (Windows 10 & 11), Desktop hardware (HP, Microsoft), iOS, Apple iPhone & iPad, basic networking, printing, MS Office, Outlook, Project, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, Skype for Business, Teams, Citrix XenApp, Endpoint Security. Compensation: The minimum and maximum annual salary (or hourly rates) that O'Connell Electric Company, Inc. believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting are $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.
