The EPMO Project Manager (Tech) will work closely with Project Sponsors, Project Owners, Business Analysts, the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), and External Subject Matter Experts to ensure successful project delivery. This role requires providing ongoing visibility to the EPMO Director, relevant Executive Stakeholders, and Project Owners. The EPMO Project Manager is responsible for knowing the status of assigned projects at all times. Key Responsibilities: Project Management Coordinate project scope creation and gather necessary requirements with the assigned Business Analyst. Collaborate with Project Sponsors to ensure project vision and high-level business objectives are clear and realistic. Develop detailed project plans by gathering information from functional/technical leads and Business Analysts. Collect and track functional requirements to ensure they are achievable and met. Define, sequence, and estimate activity durations with project-assigned SMEs. Translate technical jargon into understandable information for business stakeholders. Track project-related costs and report potential variances between approved budgets and actual costs. Plan and estimate activity resources. Organizational Resources Manage multiple, concurrent IT projects of various sizes, providing regular updates to management. Act as the lead liaison between IT technical resources and business area personnel. Handle work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, status reports, issue management, and risk mitigation. Tools and Technologies: Microsoft Project Professional SharePoint PowerBI Experience Requirements: Bachelors Degree required Minimum of 7 years of relevant IT Project Management experience General understanding of the steps involved in a highly technical project lifecycle Project Management Certification(s) preferred (PMP, CSM, etc.) Proficiency with scheduling software, preferably MS Project and/or Project Web App Understanding of critical path methodology to ensure timely delivery of milestone tasks Strong operations and project management skills
