The Position: Speech Language Pathologist - Contractor The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates patients' speech and language abilities, identifying both defects and assets, and performs periodic reevaluations. They plan and provide rehabilitating services for speech and language disorders, maintaining accurate records of patient progress and reaction to treatment on a daily basis. Additionally, they instruct and counsel other health team personnel and family members on methods to assist patients in improving, correcting, and accepting disabilities.
