Job Description: A Laboratory Phlebotomist position is available in Amarillo, TX. Key Responsibilities: Perform specimen collection techniques such as venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection, and specimen culture collection. Promote professionalism and interact with colleagues to maintain a cooperative working environment. Ensure specimens are obtained according to laboratory guidelines. Demonstrate effective communication skills to share relevant patient or laboratory sample information with healthcare providers. Support organizational priorities to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program, previous phlebotomy experience, or certification from a nationally recognized agency.
