Educator's Ally is seeking Science Teachers for the 2024-25 school year to teach in independent schools Nationwide. Interest in teaching at the Elementary, Middle or High School levels Implement lessons, activities, and instruction while adapting to students' intellectual, physical, and social-emotional needs Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding expectations, student strengths, and areas for growth Integrating the use of technology to support mathematical understanding for students Developing lesson plans and curricula based on the needs of individual students. Employing a student-centered pedagogical approach that embraces proficiency-based teaching and learning with an emphasis on making the curriculum relevant, practical, and meaningful. Monitoring student's progress using developmentally appropriate means of assessment in speaking and in writing. Providing regular feedback to students that enables growth and addresses needs for improvement. Successful candidates will have: Expertise in at least one area of science including Biology, Chemistry, Physics Bachelor's degree required A passion for teaching science and working with children Experience with effective use of technology in the learning process A commitment to collaboration and fostering a diverse community Ability to form interdisciplinary connections, and integrate technology and inquiry based learning Experience incorporating real-world applications of the sciences into their teaching If you are interested in teaching in a private day or boarding school within the U.S., we encourage you to apply.
