As a Neurodiagnostic Tech III, you will care for patients diagnosed with a brain or nerve condition, seeking the most advanced care from top specialists in the field. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist III (IOM Tech) works closely with the Neurophysiologist during the surgical procedures to monitor and assess the functional integrity of the peripheral and/or central nervous system during vascular, orthopedic, and other neurosurgical procedures. The technologist must be able to work independently utilizing a variety of sophisticated instrumentation and applies valid clinical judgment in the performance of clinical neurophysiology procedures. Comfortable performing multimodal monitoring including but not limited to complex spine, brain/brainstem, and vascular surgeries. Assists with department projects including but not limited to research, database maintenance, and quality assurance. The technologist may be asked to head projects, taking a lead role in the maintenance and completion of neurophysiology task that aid the lab and/or the scientific community. Explains details of procedure to patients, in accordance with standards of practice as defined by Cedars-Sinai and applicable certifying or regulatory standards. Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal training required Certification in Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (CNIM) from ABRET required Applicants with at least 3 years of experience may be considered as a Neuro Tech II Neuro, Neurological, Tech, Technologist, Technician, Intraoperative Monitoring, Neurophysiologist, IOM, Healthcare, Hospital, Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, California Cedars-Sinai is a leader in providing high-quality healthcare encompassing primary care, specialized medicine and research.
