Landfill Operations Manager

A rapidly growing tire recycling company is seeking a Landfill Operations and Collections Manager for their monofill in NE West Virginia. The Landfill Operations & Collections Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations, including staff supervision, workflow management, compliance, and financial planning, to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This role focuses on continuous improvement initiatives, cost control, equipment maintenance, and operational excellence, while ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable service delivery. Key responsibilities include training and managing employees, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, optimizing labor needs, and implementing preventative maintenance programs. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of landfill operations or supply chain experience, strong leadership skills, and a background in regulatory compliance. A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required, with Lean Six Sigma certification considered a plus. Salary would be 75-95k, plus 15% bonus, benefits, and an opportunity to quickly grow into a Regional Manager role.
