Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Austin, Texas team. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering design, project management, and collaborating on land development and public infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility systems, using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Prepare and review construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful projects. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in permitting processes with relevant municipal and regulatory agencies. Conduct site inspections to ensure designs are executed accurately during construction. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining quality and budgetary goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred or eligible within 1 year. 3-5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience, preferably in land development or public infrastructure. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software; experience with GIS is a plus. Strong understanding of grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design principles.
