About the Opportunity Our client, an iconic South Florida destination resort, is looking for an experienced and motivated Conference Services Manager. What You'll Do Event Leadership: Collaborate with meeting planners to craft custom menus, set engaging agendas, and coordinate comprehensive meeting services, hospitality amenities, and VIP requests. Draft proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage every detail of social and corporate events from start to finish. Operational Excellence: Create and manage detailed event orders and maintain thorough documentation (Banquet Event Orders, resumes, rooming lists). Accurately forecast and monitor food and beverage revenue on a monthly basis. Serve as the on-site contact during events, ensuring any challenges are promptly addressed. Innovation & Collaboration: Contribute to the development and implementation of custom menus and innovative presentation ideas. Maintain seamless communication with internal teams"”including Food & Beverage, Culinary, Sales & Marketing, and AV Operations"”and with external partners such as meeting planners, vendors, and production companies. Standard Management & Administration: Enforce contractual agreements related to meeting spaces, food & beverage services, and special concessions. Provide clear, concise updates to all stakeholders throughout the event planning and execution process. Who You Are Experienced & Adaptable: Minimum 2 years of experience in Banquet/Catering/Convention or Food & Beverage operations. Strong working knowledge of hotel operations and computer systems. A Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Skilled at analyzing data and preparing detailed reports. Professional & Presentable: A bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). A polished appearance and demeanor that reflect the high-profile nature of the role. Physically Prepared: Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds and sustaining an 8+ hour shift. Ready to Take the Next Step?
