Professional Engineer This is a DIRECT position. This is an ONSITE role in Muscle Shoals, AL. **COMPANY WILL ASSIST IN RELOCATION IF NECESSARY** STARTING AT $100K The Engineering department provides safe, creative, quality and "in place cost efficient" structural and construction engineering solutions for internal customers (e.g. manufacturing, project management and field erection) as well as external customers with superior customer service. The Professional Engineer uses engineering systems and drawings to provide project coordination and structural design services and models for customers. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Provide well-utilized designs of members and connections for Detailing and Manufacturing that meet customers' requirements. Assure building's structural integrity and safety Develop own advanced product and procedure knowledge and improves technical knowledge Focus on achieving department objective and profitability goals and continuous improvement as part of a high-performance work team Assure customer design service needs are met by meeting design schedules Provide technical assistance to customers on specific projects as well as to new entry level designers Develop structural quotes Qualifications: Minimum Education & Experience Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering Four (4) years of engineering experience Solid knowledge of building codes and specifications Preferred Education & Experience Qualifications: Minimum Two plus years of pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) experience Competent knowledge of company product and design procedures AutoCAD and Tekla experience Competent in company systems and applications Technical Skills & Competencies: PC competence (Including Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Action oriented Functional and technical skills: Drive for results Self-development Customer focus Integrity and trust Ethics and values Technical learning Perseverance Problem solving Time management Peer relationships
