The Card product team is recruiting a Product Leader to help power a modernization journey centered on unleashing a new era of customer experience innovations at Capital One. This Product Leader must have experience building platforms from the ground up and leading teams through technology transformation. Qualified candidates will have an established record of strategic thought and people leadership, demonstrating their ability to identify and unlock areas of leverage, create stakeholder buy-in, and creatively problem-solve through impediments to progress. In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas: Human Centered : You'll deeply immerse yourself in knowing your internal and/or external customer(s) by employing empathy and design thinking to define broad-scale solutions that provide breakthrough leverage. Business Focused : You'll learn the financial drivers, externalities, and points of leverage within your domain to identify new products or product enhancements that drive sustainable value for Capital One. Technology Driven : You'll be responsible for fostering a strong agile discipline and inspiring teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metrics. Integrated Problem Solving : Develop and champion a bold vision that drives meaningful outcomes by embracing the art of the possible. Transformational Leadership : You'll establish a long-term product portfolio strategy and partner with leaders and stakeholders to regularly drive alignment and secure resources. As a Senior Director of Product Management , you will lead a product team to reimagine our Card Business to create game-changing customer experiences and business capabilities. This leader will: Own a series of high visibility product launches. Manage a growing team of highly motivated product managers. Lead the development of new capabilities with technology teams and enterprise partner teams. Partner extensively across the card business, the risk ecosystem, and technology teams to set the vision.
