New York Pilates is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Sales & Marketing Lead to spearhead our sales and marketing efforts. As a pivotal member of our sales team, you'll drive membership and package revenue growth and develop effective marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and engagement. We're looking for a candidate who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a proven track record in sales and marketing, and possesses a strategic, growth-oriented mindset. While ideally based in NYC, we welcome applicants from the Hamptons and remote locations. Reporting directly to the NYP Leadership team, this is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the dynamic world of Pilates sales and marketing. Responsibilities Sales Management: Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets. Implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth. Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, online visibility, and student engagement. Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including email, SMS, and social media, to support lead generation and customer retention. CRM Management: Oversee the CRM system to ensure accurate customer data, using insights for targeted, personalized selling strategies. Leverage CRM for private selling, performance tracking, and optimized engagement in collaboration with marketing. Strategic Selling: Develop and implement strategic selling approaches to engage prospective clients and convert leads into sales. Customize sales pitches and offerings based on customer preferences and needs. Content Creation & Brand Voice: Work with content creators to develop brand-aligned marketing materials, including blogs, newsletters, and social media posts. Ensure all communications align with NYP's brand voice and values. Business Development & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis, customer feedback, lead generation activities, and strategic partnerships. Competencies Sales & Marketing Management: Skilled in developing strategic sales and marketing initiatives based on market trends and performance insights that drive business growth, enhance customer engagement, and support overall company goals. Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team. Skilled in setting clear goals, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented work environment. CRM & Digital Marketing Proficiency: Skilled in CRM management and digital marketing, with the ability to analyze and apply insights for targeted campaigns. Customer Focus: Dedicated to understanding customer needs and creating personalized sales and marketing experiences. Data-Driven Analysis: Ability to interpret sales and marketing data, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly. Creativity & Problem-Solving: Innovative thinker with the ability to develop creative solutions to drive growth and overcome challenges. Results Orientation: Focused on meeting and exceeding targets, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement. Requirements 5+ years of proven experience in sales and marketing management, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry selling a membership-based service. Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a sales and marketing team. Proficiency in CRM systems and experience in CRM management. Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets and goals. Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights for sales optimization. Competitive Compensation: Things we take into account when calculating the compensation are global averages per skillset, your local cost of living, your skills, and your experience. This role will be at a base salary of $80,000 to $115,000. Paid Time Off: Our teams work hard, and we never want burnout to happen! Just make sure you provide enough notification to your team members, so we can balance the workload of your fellow teammates while you are away! As a member of the NYP HQ Team, you will receive 2 weeks of approved paid vacation (80 hours) and 1 week of paid personal days (40 hours) annually. In addition, we acknowledge 5 paid holidays. Tuition Assistance: We love to keep knowledge at top of our minds, and want our employees to be empowered to learn! So we offer a quarterly stipend that can be used towards Continuing Education: $500 per quarter, up to $2,000/year. Can be used for internal Continuing Education opportunities only.
