What you'll do at OhioMHAS: We are seeking a high-level executive to be part of a dynamic leadership team transforming the behavioral health landscape in the State of Ohio. The Chief Business Officer (CBO) plays a critical role in driving the overall direction and growth of the agency. The CBO will collaborate with the Director and an engaging Executive Leadership Team to oversee the funding and facilities of Ohio's behavioral health programs and operations. This position will lead teams who are involved in Financial Management, Grants Administration, Capital Planning, and Pharmacy Services here at the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. More of what you'll do: Establish strategic goals and objectives that align with the agency's mission and vision as they relate to the business offices. Manage execution of recommendations and requirements of external reports (e.g., from the Ohio General Assembly, Auditor of State, Administrative Services Performance Audit). Manage the agency's operational processes, systems, and policies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality, ensuring operational excellence across all departments. Supervise deputy directors and bureau chiefs in the business offices. Collaborate with senior management staff to ensure action items resulting from agency initiatives, major planning activities, and other executive decisions are communicated and implemented. Serve as a member of the agency's executive team. Additional Salary / Appointment Information: This position is unclassified, per ORC 124.11 (A)(9).
