Job Profile The company is recruiting a Product/Platform Vice President who will spearhead technological innovation and data management . Enhance efficiencies across various teams, promoting design principles, and leading technology initiatives. Develop innovative tools to boost efficiency, particularly within Investment Research, Risk, and Client teams. Collaborate with AM Technology teams, you will facilitate the transition of our tools to enterprise architecture. Encourage the adoption of design principles among Python developers to foster reuse and mitigate transition costs. Participate in technology initiatives, reengineering legacy processes, implementing new technology, and identifying automation opportunities. Work closely with senior members, you will identify projects to improve our team's quantitative capabilities. Contribute to investment strategy and risk discussions, and oversee the Data Management team's tasks. Handle ad-hoc reporting/data requests and assume ownership of ongoing reporting and analytical needs. Education Level Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Financial Engineering Work Experience 4+ years of financial services experience ideally working with Hedge Funds or Private Credit Duties/Responsibilities Actively participate in technology initiatives, including the reengineering of legacy processes, the implementation of new technology, and the proactive identification of opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements. Assume ownership of select ongoing reporting and analytical needs, with a primary objective of eliminating duplication, enhancing efficiency, and achieving full automation. Contribute to investment strategy and risk discussions, staying abreast of investment and strategy modeling needs that may necessitate system support. Develop innovative tools aimed at enhancing efficiencies across various teams, with a particular emphasis on Investment Research, Risk, and Client teams. Engage in collaborative efforts with AM Technology teams to facilitate the transition of JPMAAM tools to enterprise architecture as required. Identify projects/processes that that will improve the team's quantitative capabilities, in close partnership with select Senior members of JPMAAM, Monitor and assist with ad-hoc reporting/data requests made by clients, analysts, portfolio managers, and the risk team. Oversee the tasks of the Data Management team, assuming responsibility for the development of tools that ensure data completeness. Promote the adoption of design principles among JPMAAM Python developers that foster reuse and mitigate the cost of transition. Provide Investor Support and be at the forefront of promoting technological innovation and data management within our organization. Your focus will be on enhancing efficiencies across various teams, fostering the adoption of design principles, and leading technology initiatives. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Ability to assess current processes and the overall control environment, identify areas of improvement, and use knowledge of technology to implement practical solutions Ability to think critically, analyze, and solve business problems. Ability to work independently as well within a team dynamic. Advanced level knowledge of software engineering concepts and hands-on working experience with scripting languages and data analysis tools including Python and Tableau are key. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral, including the ability to interact with all levels of an organization. Preferred Qualifications General familiarity with Hedge Fund strategies, Risk Management, and Portfolio Construction concepts are a plus.
