Rate: $21.50/hr Location: Los Angeles, CA 90007 Duration: 4 months contract + possible extension/conversion to FTE (TEMP TO PERM FOR RIGHT FIT) Work hours: MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY Parking: at worker's expense **MUST HAVE MIN OF 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN HOTEL FRONT DESK SERVICE** Summary:Greet all guests upon arrival with a friendly and respectful demeanor. Ensure a fast and efficient check-in process, verifying guest identification, credit, and payment. Assign room keys, complete registration cards, and provide additional assistance as needed. Accommodate special requests whenever possible to enhance guest satisfaction. Place guest and room information in appropriate front desk packets and communicate with hotel personnel. Manage and coordinate guest maintenance and repair requests. Maintain secure storage of room keys and ensure proper key distribution. Thoroughly adhere to credit, check-cashing, and cash handling policies. Perform cashier functions, including bill settlement, posting guest charges, and foreign currency exchanges. Answer incoming calls via PBX console in a polite, professional manner. Route calls accurately to departments, guest rooms, meeting rooms, or hotel facilities. Take and promptly deliver messages using proper telephone etiquette and handling procedures. Handle mail and package deliveries efficiently following standard procedures. Minimum of 2 years hotel front desk experience required. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on efficiency and accuracy. Proficiency in handling cash, credit, and billing procedures. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage guest requests and provide solutions professionally. Familiarity with PBX console and phone systems preferred. Proven ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure. Experience with hotel management software is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
