Position Overview: We are seeking an administrative assistant to our center's Educational Center Director. Tentative Start Date: January 15, 2025 * On site training provided. Website: Schedule: * Administrative role to support pre-opening operations Pre-Opening Administrative Assistant Role: ($20 hourly + Commission for every family enrolled) * Administrative position with the option to be Lead Teacher after opening if chosen. * Assist in preparing the center for its grand opening, ensuring everything is ready for a smooth launch. * Serve as the Educational Center Director Designee, helping with administrative duties such as record-keeping, staff support, and other operational tasks. * On Site Training from the Center Director * Lead tours for prospective families and handle inquiries about enrollment with warmth and professionalism. * Assist in generating and following up on enrollment leads, including outreach calls to potential families. Qualifications: * Education: * Minimum of an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or currently enrolled in a study program. * Experience: * At least 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred (minimum of 6 months required). * 1-3 years of customer service experience. * Demonstrated knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP) in early childhood education. * CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). * Skills: * Ability to create meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * A proactive, energetic, and adaptable personality with a passion for early childhood education. * Ability to balance administrative duties with teaching responsibilities.
