Salary: $60,000 annually minimum, based on experience. Summary Provides and maintains essential technical information and assistance on all productions in Theater Emory/Emory University designated venues. Manages the set shop equipment budgets. Qualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below. Supervises the purchase of all construction materials and equipment. Constructs scenery and props. Supervises the Assistant Tech Director and student workers for work calls. Assists in maintaining inventory of equipment and facilities. Research and devise methods of construction and operation for set and prop pieces. Provides maintenance and custodial support for all spaces. Other duties as assigned, including designing (additional fee paid for design work). Requirements Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years experience in technical theater. Proficiency in theatrical set construction, safety, drafting, and budgeting. Master's degree preferred, as position will likely teach a Stagecraft course (for additional fee). Proficiency in AutoCad or similar drafting software. Experience working in an academic environment (high school or University) preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
